| Go to the chamber and jump down. Put your portals on both the upper and lower sides of the horizontally placed Material Emancipation Grill and then go around the big Emancipation Grill, jump down, and stand on the button. | Get to the small area with the horizontally placed Emancipation Grill. |
| Turn to face the large Emancipation Grill, look up above the stairs to see the panel where you put the next portal, and when your partner has enough speed, shoot the portal from the panel *above* the small Grill, to the panel above the stairs.
| | Wait for landing and then get the Edgeless Safety Cube. Walk to the area behind the button and look at the ceiling. |
| Run up the stairs and go through the Grill. Place your portal on the wall near you and put shoot the other portal over the ledge where you came from. Then take the ball from your partner and go through the portal and place the ball on the receptacle.
| Proceed to the disassembly area. |
