This is the thirty-fourth level of the game, and takes place within the Neurotoxin Generator. This level requires the player to utilise the Thermal Discouragement Beam in order to proceed, but does not feature any direct hazards due to the placement of the Beam.

Hazards

  • None

Walkthrough

  • Walk on the catwalk past the Neurotoxin Generator and through the two doors.
  • Walk to the elevator at the end of the catwalk.
  • Walk to the button on the right and push it in order to open the door to the Implosion Observation Annex.
  • Go through the door to the Annex and then come back again.
  • Follow the beam and place a portal on the wall, where the beam ends.
  • Go back to the Annex and place a portal on the panels moving up on the bottom-left corner.
  • When the laser has cut the four tubes going to the Neurotoxin Generator, place the same portal onto the panels moving on the top-right corner.
  • Now all of the tubes should be disconnected and the Generator will implode. Go down the stairs to the room where Wheatley is, and you will get sucked into a tube.
