Walkthrough
Story Mode
Chamber Part 1
- Place your first portal underneath the Propulsion Gel tube.
- Place your second portal on one of the end walls on the ledge at the right side of the room.
- Press the Pedestal Button linked to the Propulsion Gel tube to dispense Propulsion Gel onto the ledge.
- Move your second portal to the wall at the base of the ramp.
- Press the Pedestal Button linked to the Propulsion Gel tube to dispense Propulsion Gel onto the ramp.
- Press the Pedestal Button linked to the Vital Apparatus Vent to get a Cube.
- Place the Cube on the Heavy Duty Super-Colliding Super Button to increase the ramp's incline.
- Move your first portal to one of the end walls on the ledge.
- Enter your second portal to get onto the ledge, then use the Propulsion Gel to launch yourself to the main part of the chamber.
- Place your first portal on the floor to the right.
- Place your second portal on the angled wall above your first portal.
- Drop into the first portal and drop through it a second time while falling to fling yourself onto the platform.
- Stand on the Heavy Duty Super-Colliding Super Button to temporarily disable the Material Emancipation Grill.
- Move your first portal to any portal surface in the first area.
- Move your second portal to the wall near you.
- Go through the portal to get back to the first area.
- Move your first portal underneath the Propulsion Gel tube.
- Press the Pedestal Button to dispense Propulsion Gel through the portal.
- Take the Cube and drop through the portal back to the main area.
- Run on the Propulsion Gel and jump across the gap with the cube to get to the other raised platform.
- Place the Cube on the Heavy Duty Super-Colliding Super Button to open the exit door.
Chamber Part 2
- Place your first portal on the wall beside you.
- Place your second portal on one of the portal surfaces visible through the grate floor.
- Go through the portal, then walk into the alcove and move your first portal to the wall you can see the top of on the raised platform.
- Go through the portal again, then move your first portal to the angled portal surface beside you.
- Move your second portal to the ceiling of the alcove you were previously in.
- Drop through the portal and move your second portal to the floor below you before you hit the floor to fling yourself to the main part of the chamber.
- Walk through the Material Emancipation Grill to the left and place the Cube on the Heavy Duty Super-Colliding Super Button to disable the Material Emancipation Grill on the entrance.
- Place your first portal on the floor portal surface.
- Place your second portal on the ceiling of the alcove you just fell through.
- Drop through the portal and move your second portal to the floor below you before you hit the floor to fling yourself to the high ledge.
- Press the Pedestal Button to disable the Material Emancipation Grill blocking off the Cube.
- Drop to the ground and move your second portal back to the ceiling of the alcove.
- Move the Cube to the Heavy Duty Super-Colliding Super Button in the middle of the chamber.
- Drop through the portal and move your second portal to the floor below you before you hit the floor to fling yourself to the high ledge.
- Move your first portal to the wall beneath the grate platform (previously covered by a Material Emancipation Grill).
- Move your second portal underneath the Propulsion Gel beside you.
- Wait a few seconds for the Propulsion Gel to spread over the floor.
- Move your second portal to the high wall previously covered by a Death Fizzler.
- Run on the Propulsion Gel into the portal to fling yourself to the elevator (this may take a few tries).
Advanced Mode
Chamber Part 1
- Place your first portal underneath the Propulsion Gel tube.
- Place your second portal on one of the end walls on the ledge at the right side of the room.
- Press the Pedestal Button linked to the Propulsion Gel tube to dispense Propulsion Gel onto the ledge.
- Move your second portal to the wall at the base of the ramp.
- Press the Pedestal Button linked to the Propulsion Gel tube to dispense Propulsion Gel onto the ramp.
- Press the Pedestal Button linked to the Vital Apparatus Vent to get a Cube.
- Place the Cube on the Heavy Duty Super-Colliding Super Button to increase the ramp's incline.
- Move your first portal to one of the end walls on the ledge.
- Enter your second portal to get onto the ledge, then use the Propulsion Gel to launch yourself to the main part of the chamber.
- Place your first portal on the floor to the right.
- Place your second portal on the angled wall above your first portal.
- Drop into the first portal and drop through it a second time while falling to fling yourself onto the platform.
- Stand on the Heavy Duty Super-Colliding Super Button to temporarily disable the Material Emancipation Grill.
- Move your first portal to any portal surface in the first area.

- Move your first portal underneath the Propulsion Gel tube.
- Press the Pedestal Button to dispense Propulsion Gel through the portal.
- Take the Cube and drop through the portal back to the main area.
- Run on the Propulsion Gel and jump across the gap with the cube to get to the other raised platform.
- Place the Cube on the Heavy Duty Super-Colliding Super Button to open the exit door.
Chamber Part 2
- Place your first portal on the wall beside you.

- Walk through the Material Emancipation Grill to the left and place the Cube on the Heavy Duty Super-Colliding Super Button to disable the Material Emancipation Grill on the entrance.
- Place your first portal on the floor portal surface.
- Place your second portal on the ceiling of the alcove you just fell through.
- Drop through the portal and move your second portal to the floor below you before you hit the floor to fling yourself to the high ledge.
- Press the Pedestal Button to disable the top half of the Material Emancipation Grill blocking off the Cube.
- Move your first portal the the high wall above the Cube.
- Move your second portal underneath the Propulsion Gel beside you.
- Drop through the portal, moving backwards afterwards to avoid touching the Material Emancipation Grill.
- Move your first portal to the right side of the wall beside you.
- Wait a few seconds for the Propulsion Gel to spread.
- Move your second portal to the wall above you.
- Take the Cube and run through the portal with the help of the Propulsion Gel. Toss the Cube over the Material Emancipation Grill as you move through the air.
- Move the Cube to the Heavy Duty Super-Colliding Super Button in the middle of the chamber.
- Place your first portal on the wall beneath the grate platform (previously covered by a Material Emancipation Grill).
- Place your second portal on the high wall previously covered by a Death Fizzler.
- Step through the portal and move your second portal underneath the Propulsion Gel as you fall (this may take a few tries).
- Wait a few seconds for the Propulsion Gel to spread over the floor.
- Run on the Propulsion Gel into the portal to fling yourself to the elevator (this may take a few tries).
