The first scene beings with Chell waking from suspension which lasted for 50 days. During the brief woken period, the Announcer puts Chell through a ''mandatory physical and mental wellness exercise''. Upon completing this exercise, Chell once again returns to bed.<br>

Upon waking for the second time, much time has passed and the room Chell spent her time in during suspension has fallen into much disrepair. A knock is heard at the door, it turns out to be [[Wheatley]].

A knock is heard at the door, which turns out to be a panicked [[Wheatley]], a loose [[Personality Core]] after answering.<br>

After some dialogue, the intercom states that an explosion is about to occur. Thinking quickly, Wheatley takes control of the room and guides it away from the impending explosion. Unfortunately for Chell, the worried Wheatley smashes the room into what looks like an abandoned part of the testing facility.
