The Morality Core is a personality core that appears in Portal, and is referenced in Portal 2: Lab Rat as the "Latest in AI inhibition technology." It falls off of GLaDOS' body prior to the climactic "battle" at the end of the game. It was later destroyed in an Emergency Intelligence Incinerator by Chell.

The Morality Core was intended to act as a way to control GLaDOS' homicidal tendancies; her "conscience." Towards the end of Portal, GLaDOS also proposes that it may have had other, lesser known responsibilities, such as regulating control over the Rocket Turret in her chamber.
