The Aperture Labs Hard Hat is a headwear item for Atlas and P-body. It is a white hard hat, sporting a potato-powered miner's light connected by two insulated orange wires. This hat was available to players who owned the Aperture Labs Hard Hat in Team Fortress 2. As of 2017, cross-promotional item feature is no longer available.
Trivia
- The "[ classified ]" style for this hat in Team Fortress 2 has the Aperture Logo on the side covered up.[1]
- This item is a reference to the "potato clock" or "potato battery", a popular science fair project where a potato is used to power a clock or other electronic appliance.
