Chell
Chell is the primary protagonist for the portal series. While mute, her determination and strong will are reflected in her triumphs against the testing facility.
GLaDOS
GLaDOS (or Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System) is the computer system managing Aperture Science.
Doug Rattman
Doug Rattman is an ex-Aperture Science employee.
Companion Cube
The Companion Cube is a variant of the Weighted Storage Cube. It will never threaten to stab you and, in fact cannot speak.
Wheatley
Wheatley is an eccentric excitable Personality Core introduced in Portal 2.
Cave Johnson
Cave Johnson is the deceased founder of Aperture Science.
Caroline
Caroline was Cave Johnson's assistant. It is revealed within the Story that her mind was downloaded onto a computer, and she became GLaDOS.
Atlas
Atlas one of two Co-op bots. He is the masculine, yet nervous of the two.
P-body
P-body is the second of the two Co-op bots. She is the feminine and confident member of the pair.
