トリビア

GLaDOSとタレットの声優であるEllen McLain(英語)はPortal 2でのCaroline、Team Fortress 2(英語)でのAdministrator、Half-Life 2でのコンバイン指令員の声優も務めています。
GLaDOSはGenetic Lifeform and Disk Operating Systemの略です。
Ellen McLainはオペラ歌手でもあり、タレットオペラを歌いました。
初期のプレースホルダー（予め入れておいて後で交換されるもの）のWheathleyの声はValve社員Richard Lordが担当していました。
Portal 2は元々ポータルが出てこないつもりでした。
Portal 2には"粘着ジェル"の計画がありました。
PoralとPortal 2はデジペン大学(英語)の学生によって作られた試作品から多くのアイデアを得ました。
Portalに出てくるケーキはプロジェクトリーダーであるKim Swiftが近所のケーキ屋で選んだシュヴァルツヴェルダー・キルシュトルテ（黒い森のサクランボ酒ケーキ）です。
