Aperture Science Fire Suppression System or Sprinkler System (No official name is given), is a game mechanic introduced in Portal 2, precisely in Chapter 9 Finale. The sprinkler system only appeared and function on Finale and does not function on any other parts of the facility.

This mechanic is considered an obstacle due to the Mobility Gel erasing function.

Overview

The Fire Suppression system (or usually called "Sprinkler") emits water that washes out any kind of Mobility Gels and suppress or extinguish fires, this function works when fire is detected in the facility, especially the Central AI Chamber in the Stalemate Resolution Annex.
