Fire Suppression System
The Aperture Science Fire Suppression System or Sprinkler System (No official name is given), is a game mechanic introduced in Portal 2, precisely in Chapter 9, Finale. The sprinkler system's only appearance was in the Finale and does not appear nor function on any other parts of the facility.
This mechanic is considered an obstacle due to the Mobility Gel erasing function.
The fire suppression system (the "sprinkler") emits water that washes out presumably any kind of Gel and suppress or extinguish fires, this action is triggered when fire is detected in the facility, especially in the Central AI Chamber at the Stalemate Resolution Annex.
