Electricity Field is a circuit that can electrocute and kill the player when it is on. In its official form, it was introduced as it switches on and off periodically, forcing the player to wait for the perfect time to pass through it. It was originally added in Portal: The Flash Version, but it is not in the original Portal game, but on additional maps from it's port to console: Portal: Still Alive.
