If I want to make video tutorials, is there a way to get my name added onto the user list for the YouTube account, or can I just upload videos to my own YouTube account? Nalexa-1124 (talk) 20:05, 26 November 2016 (UTC)

: That's something that would have to be discussed with one of the higher ups (anyone under Bureaucrats or Content Admins), since I'm just a moderator myself, but as far as I'm aware, the only people who have access to the official Youtube account are the admins of the wiki. Other users have uploaded videos to their own channels for pages (such as the Portal Prelude walkthrough) because of this. So long as you still follow the same general style and quality of the official channel (taking time with the levels to not rush, showing off key elements, no custom skins/mods, subtitles off, and high quality video textures/models/etc.) you should be fine. If you don't have the high enough quality computer to record everything (like me), recording a .DEM file of your playthrough and sending it to someone who does have the better machine is also a good solution. I hope that answers your question and gives you an idea of what can be done. ~Sven~ (talk) 18:39, 27 November 2016 (UTC)

:: I do currently have the set-up to record myself, but that might change in the future. I will just upload the videos myself. Nalexa-1124 (talk) 19:47, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
