Alive despite the explosion, Chell reaches for her Portal gun, and, remembering that moon dust creates an ideal portal surface, aims it through a hole in the ceiling at a full moon high in the sky. She fires, causing the space core, Chell, and Wheatley still attached to GLaDOS' body flying into space.
