Hello. Please post evidence of the following claim: "Consulted with developers of Portal as well as ran through licensed content, and came to the conclusion that his name is indeed spelled Rattmann (two n's). Two n's is a widespread misconception." or your recent rename of the Rattman article will be reverted. The only official mention of his name is on the soundtrack. Your search and replace on the Rattman page has also introduced a factual error in stating that the soundtrack spelling has two 'n's when it has one, which is the basis of the article's spelling as that is the only official merchandise to date that has a spelling of his name. Sure thing, I have confirmation from direct messaging with Dave Kircher where he states "Looks like the ARG had a login of 'drattmann' which seems authoritative enough to me." Due to privacy concerns, I would be happy to privately message you a screenshot of the message, however I am currently unsure of the ethics of publicly posting private conversations. I am currently asking if he is ok with it. The issue with the spelling is that Rattmann is widely used in officially licensed content such as his chapter in The Final Hours of Portal 2 "Rattmann Art," his character card in Portal: The Uncooperative Cake Acquisition Game, and his login to the Portal ARG. The only time this diverges to my knowledge is in the Songs to Test By track "Ghost of Rattman." In the Portal ARG, his own account "drattmann" spells the name with two n's, which leads me to believe that if he himself spells his name with two n's, which further builds this up to be the strongest proof of his name containing two n's. This, combined with the overwhelming use of two n's in separate licensed media, points to the spelling of one n on the soundtrack probably just being a fluke. I will add a section to his wiki page describing the controversy over the spelling of his name. Just to add, I was the one who originally switched the page from Rattmann to Rattman due to the spelling on the soundtrack.
