Modded content on articles

Hi Camden,

Please refrain from adding stuff from modded content to articles. We primarily cover official game content, and any custom content added to the wiki must be clearly disclosed as custom content and follow the Community content guidelines. The TL;DR is that standalone test chambers are not covered under these guidelines. They must either be part of a larger event that we have already covered or be part of a mod that we already cover in depth.

I wanted to explain my reasoning regarding the additions to main campaign articles:

1. **Branding & Site Purpose:** The site’s logo explicit header reads **"PORTAL Unofficial Wiki"** (as opposed to an officially owned Valve domain like the *Developer Community*). Because the branding designates it as an "unofficial" fan wiki, community-created content—such as custom Steam Workshop campaigns, BEE2 packages, and custom test chambers—is an essential part of documenting the extended *Portal* experience.

2. **Article Scope:** Since there is no separate "official Valve-only" Portal wiki domain, this wiki serves as the primary encyclopedia for both base game content and community creations. Removing custom content from main articles limits the documentation of major workshop releases.

3. **User vs. Admin Status:** For reference, edits made by regular community members (without Administrator or Bureaucrat privileges) should be open for discussion on talk pages before being completely reverted across main articles.

Moving forward, I'd like to discuss if we can establish dedicated "Community Extensions" or "Workshop Campaigns" sections within main articles so custom content can exist alongside official Valve campaign information without getting reverted.
