• I guess that's not the proof, because depending on the Portal 2 info there are many of Companion Cubes, but at the end it says that the scorched cube is ejected after Chell, and its old Portal 1 cube, so it may be that first cube Chell had to drop to the incinerator, that could be a better proof.

The official Aperture Science Collaborative Disposition Test describes the Companion Cube as:

Surviving the incineration

GLaDOS says when Chell is going to get cake (get killed by incineration) "All Aperture Science Laboratory equipment can survive up to 4,000 degrees Kelvin (3,726.8 celsius 6,740.3 fahrenheit)" so it did survive.
