==Theory==
*It is going around that the companion cubes are stuffed full of HUMANS. There is a LOT of proof for this theory.
1.The companion cube NEVER goes anywhere near the emancipation grill. Why? Because, as GLaDOS and The Announcer say, the the emancipation grill emancipates UNNATURAL ITEMS. Humans are NATURAL ITEMS, so the companion cube's outside would emancipate, with the dead humans falling out of it.
2.The way GLaDOS talks about the companion cube is the same way she talks about humans. She uses only the words "useless" and "worthless" to describe both the cube and humans.
3.GLaDOS is a VERY untrustworthy source of information. {{Spoiler text|She lied about the cake in Portal. She lied about the last level in Portal 2.}} So when she says that the cube "cannot talk" and "if it did, it should not be listened to." According to what she's done so far, we should assume the OPPOSITE is most likely true, that the cube "can talk" and "should be listened to." The two exceptions for this we can find is when she says, "They are sentient, of course, we just have lots of them," and when she says, "I think that one was about to say, 'I love you.'" Which would refer to what she said earlier technically as much of a {{Spoiler text|lie as the cake.}} But she's really taunting Chell with the truth, making Chell think she's lying while she's not. In fact, in the web comic "Lab Rat," the opposite IS true. The companion cube gives him very good advice, and when Rattman takes his pills, he almost dies without the cube's help. Also, in game on one of the walls in his den, he has written, "The companion cube CAN talk. I'm not hallucinating, YOU ARE," and has put the cube over the faces of his fellow Aperture employees, even on Cave Johnson's face., with the words R.I.P. under them.
4.The achievement you earn when you {{Spoiler text|euthanize the cube is called "Fratricide,"}} which means to kill your friends/family. This would most likely be referring to your co-workers and fellow test subjects.
*But this just a theory. [[User:WouldYouLikeSomeLie243|WouldYouLikeSomeLie243]] ([[User talk:WouldYouLikeSomeLie243|talk]]) 15:44, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
