這是整個《傳送門2》遊戲中第一個關卡，同時介紹遊戲和提供教學。關卡的第一部份位於[[Aperture Science/zh-hant|光圈科學]]休憩中心，並且介紹玩家一些遊戲的基本操作例如用滑鼠觀看東西，移動角色和使用物件等等。{{Spoiler|此時遊戲也向玩家介紹兩個角色，分別是[[Announcer/zh-hant|系統廣播]]和[[Wheatley/zh-hant|惠特利]]。}}關卡的第二部份讓玩家進入第一間測驗室，亦讓玩家詳細了解光圈科學設施的外觀。關卡的最後部份位於一個殘破不堪的測驗室，同時向玩家介紹[[Portals/zh-hant|傳送門]]。也介紹了[[Cubes/zh-hant#重量儲存方塊（Weighted Storage Cube）|重量儲存方塊]]和與它互動的[[Heavy Duty Super Colliding Super Button/zh-hant|超大型撞擊按鈕]]。完成第一間測驗室後，玩家會碰見[[Emancipation Grill/zh-hant|物質分解網]]，然後由[[Chamberlock/zh-hant|測驗室電梯]]離開。 | |||
