== Downloading and Installing the maps ==

1. Find the map you want sites that do Portal 2 maps will be linked below

4. Locate the .bsp file

5. Extract to C:\Program Files\steam\steamapps\common\portal 2\portal2\maps ~~<ref>or where ever steam is installed for you</ref>~~

That's the map downloaded and installed for you but unlike Team Fortress 2 the map isn't downloaded to the client if it isn't in the maps folder so your friend needs to do the same thing (make sure its the same version map he is downloading)

== Setting up the co-op map ==

Now you both have the map you need to be able to connect and if your thinking "Oh this is easy I just type map map_name in the console then send invite" you are wrong I tried that and it just disconnects you

1. Open portal 2 and start Co-op with your friend
