Official Personality Test Info

The official Aperture Science Collaborative Disposition Test describes Doug Rattmann as:

“You’re the quiet, artistic type, happy to ponder the solution to a puzzle in quiet solitude. Compatible cooperative test partners include introspective loners, deaf-mute invisible people, and mannequins.”

I'm not sure what section this information best goes under, so I'll just leave it here for now. - MewtwoWarrior 02:36, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

This information is now found at the Collaborative Disposition Test page. - MewtwoWarrior 23:01, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

Ratman Dens in Portal

I was playing Portal the other night and I believe that there's three of Ratman's Dens in Test Chamber 19, but the wiki page says there's just two. Should I nab screenshots and show where they are? I didn't see any information on which two were listed on the page and which one is missing. - MewtwoWarrior 06:32, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

rattmann clear

It's been confirmed by Valve that Doug was dead a long time before Portal 2, I assume that he bled to death after falling asleep in the relaxation whateveritis. Also, it's not rambling. There are several possible translations of what he's really saying. But isn't it creepy as hell that you can hear the dead guy speaking? And that no one knows who voiced him? I think Chell really did have brain damage. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Test Subject 27 (talk) • (contribs)

Doug Rattmann, Simon Pegg?

Doug Rattmann has to be voiced by Simon Pegg I just watched the Boxtrolls in which he played a man who was what appeared to be schizophrenic Then I remembered Doug Rattmann and the voices are much more than identical when you listen to the audio file found in Portal 2 They sound exactly the same. And I did some research and found that Simon Pegg was actually considered to voice a character in Portal 2.

This is just a hunch but could someone get back to me on this? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Theo Sherman (talk) • (contribs)

In the future, please sign your posts with ~~~~. Anyway, after a quick search myself I was unable to find any information backing up this claim. Where were you able to find this information out? Could you share this research with us? I'd prefer we make sure that's accurate first before we do anything with it, of course. ~Sven~ (talk) 19:37, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
He's voiced by Mark Laidlaw. (https://gyazo.com/942b1cd1d7debf54618699a3775294d9) Morgandm (talk) 15:50, 12 July 2016 (UTC)

Rattman or Rattmann?

The official soundtrack, disc 1, has track 1 titled "Ghost of Rattman", but I'm seeing conflicting sources on if his last name has one or two Ns. Is there any first-party definitive source on this, in addition to the soundtrack? Dogman15 (talk) 08:34, 20 December 2022 (UTC)

The soundtrack is the only definitive source for now until Valve confirms otherwise. i-ghost 20:03, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
