Edgeless Safety Cubes

My logical brain disgrees so much with the naming of these. Darkstar516 15:47, 23 April 2011 (UTC)

Need more gallery images

We need the following images:

  • Storage Cube active (blue -> orange)
  • Storage Cube covered in Propulsion Gel
  • Storage Cube covered in Repulsion Gel
  • Storage Cube covered in Conversion Gel - if this is possible. I don't think it's ever possible in-game due to the level designs, however is their a skin to support it?
  • Edgeless safety cube variants of all above. The preceding unsigned comment was added by RJackson (talk) • (contribs) 02:32, 28 April 2011

Unused edgeless safety cube -> Glass Futbol

So it turns out that the unused version of what we thought were the edgeless safety cubes are not in fact meant to be edgeless safety cubes. There's an entity in the files called prop_glass_futbol_spawner that spawns a prop_glass_futbol (which are the round hollow balls featured on this page). The futbols are described as highly fragile. Documentation on these entities can be found in the VDC. Interesting indeed. -- Pilk (talk) 03:19, 16 May 2011 (UTC)

188.35 grams

I think that's not what the G means. If the Test Subject is supposed to grab cubes ONLY with the Portal Gun, they should weigh a lot more than that.

Metal wall / metal cube

I don't think this article mentions the metal cubes which the walls are made of. These metal cubes are truly cubes, for the weighted storage cube and other cubes are actually cuboids.

Here are the metal cube textures:
