Official Personality Test Info
The official Aperture Science Collaborative Disposition Test describes Cave Johnson as:
“You don’t see crises-only challengitunities you choose to scale like mountains. You’re a can-do, shoot-from-the-hip, silver-tongued self-starter. You’re a good match for any cooperative test partner, providing they shut up and listen."

Gabe Newell?
I can't shake the idea that Cave Johnson is, in some way, an allegory for Gabe Newell, Valve's CEO, who has been blamed for the infamous delays of Half Life 2: Episode 3.
How?
1) First names sound similar 2) Both of them did something revolutionary in their field (ie; Gabe made Steam and Cave made the Portal Gun) 3) Both of them seem very obstinate about things (ie; Cave's memetic rant on lemons, and how Gabe seems to be hellbent on delaying every game Valve makes, excepting the L4D series)
Just a quick observation and nothing more, but I really do think I'm onto something by saying it.

Cave Johnson might have been inserted into a turret
At the Turret Redemption Line if you safe the turret and wait around it should say "Don't make lemonade," and "Burn his house down," also "Her name is Caroline remember that." All things Cave Johnson would say. (Especially the first 2.) --Mobileforce71 13:46, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
- I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with you with this, BUT in some cut dialog he WAS put into a cube. And the new DLC will have a form of Cave Johnson who's still alive, so there's that to look forward to. ~Sven~ 14:39, 4 May 2012 (UTC)

My friend on steam found this image of Cave Johnson. It can be found here.
Does anyone have a clue why he is in Portal 1? I mean, there was the Username & Password linking to Cave Johnson already, so why not again?
