This is the eighth level of the game and takes place outside and within the ruins of GLaDOS' chamber which was destroyed at the end of Portal. This level advances the storyline and does not contain any Portal-based puzzles or significant obstacles.

Walkthrough
- There are no puzzle elements or obstacles; walk through the level until you reach the stairs behind the incinerator.
- Walk down the stairs and jump over the part where the stairs collapsed.
- Walk to the left which leads to a catwalk which leads to the Breaker Room.
- Plug Wheatley into the receptacle.
- Enjoy the awakening.
Trivia
- The same location is seen in Chapter 5. Its new appearance suggests it's been fixed by GLaDOS as she gained more control over the facility without the restrictions of the cores originally attached to her.
