Any carbon-rich substance will turn to diamond when applied to extreme pressure, even coal. ImP Gamer (talk) 17:46, 23 October 2017 (UTC)

Yeah, apparently so. But you'll get better diamonds by putting pencils under extreme pressure. Wheatley44 (talk)

False fact #4

"According to most advanced algorithms, the world's best name is Craig. This can also be partially subjective based on one's belief of "the world's best name"." then shouldn't that be in the "Subjective or Unverifiable Factoids" section? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Catt0s (talk) • (contribs)

Yeah, there are a lot of facts that need to be moved around into another category and such. Might take a few days to finish. The one I am not sure about is "the space core will never go to space". Do we evaluate this just as the given fact or at the time that the Fact Core says it? I would say it is false since he does go to space, but it is currently listed as Subjective on the grounds that there is no way of knowing if he will at the time. This could be taken a whole lot furthur by saying that maybe in the portal universe, all these facts are true, but of course, the concept of a space core does exist, to us, but as a fictional character. Perhaps I am just simply overthinking it. I'm 100% confident about where every other fact on this page should be, but what about "the space core will never go to space"? Should that be Subjective or False?
I will try to enact changes around sometime tomorrow hopefully Naleksuh (talk) 18:34, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
Okay, so here are all changes that were added so far:
  • Things such as "false factoids" were changed to "false facts" - as a factoid is automatically something that is false and makes much more sense in contexts.
  • Subjective and Unverifiable were split into its own categories
  • Many have been moved around from "false" and such to "subjective" and "unferifable"
  • The Space Core one was moved to false
The new concerning one is "The Fact Sphere is not defective. Its facts are wholly accurate and very interesting.", as this is both subjective, unverifiable, and false in different parts. I have put it under unverifiable for now but could be jumbled around.
If anyone objects to this, do let me know. Naleksuh (talk) 18:04, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

Mnemonics

Shouldn’t the mnemonic device for counting be included in true facts? It is correct in the same way that Marie Curie inventing death of radioactivity is correct, and it does make your earlier difficulties seem like no big deal. Same with the fact about commoners in Victorian times. HansonKerman (talk) 15:43, 14 October 2020 (UTC)
