HTC Vive is a virtual reality headset developed by HTC and Valve Corporation, released on 5 April 2016. In conjunction with motion tracked controllers, it allows users to explore 3D environments and manipulate various objects. The Lab can be seen as a sort of "tech demo" for the device.
