:Possibly, but it's not the same kind of incinerator. At any rate, this sort of statement (linking one piece of dialog of the game with another event in a way that the writers probably didn't intend) is speculation, thus should only be written on the talk page and not on the article itself. == Disintegration sound ==
In Portal 2, test chamber 7 (one with the companion cube), GLaDOS disintegrates two of the cubes. After playing it for a number of times, I realised that the sound is not the same as the original disinegration sound (of other stuff). After comparing the two recodred audio clips from my gameplay using Audacity, companion cube one had another noise added to it, something like a distant yelling, as if it cursing GLaDOS.
