GLaDOS: These next tests require cooperation. Consequently, they have never been solved by a human. That's where you come in.
[Atlas and P-body being built] GLaDOS: You don't know pride. You don't know fear. You don't know anything. You'll be perfect. [Atlas and P-body are given portal devices, activated, and dropped down their tubes. The Portal 2 logo appears with "Cooperative Testing Initiative" under it.] [Zoom out from a button, located above two crushers which smash against each other.] [Atlas has P-body head for a section with an Emancipation Grill. Atlas shoots two portals, one at P-body's feet, and one directly above P-body, who falls infinitely through the portals. Atlas fires the blue portal on another platform to launch P-body up, where he presses the button.] [A blue X panel changes to an orange checkmark panel.] GLaDOS: Test chamber completed. Continue testing. [Atlas hops through some portals and lands on a button, opening a door] GLaDOS: Continue testing. [Atlas presses a button, which activates a crusher, destroying P-body. Moments later, P-body drops down through an Apparatus Vent. He waves at Atlas, then Atlas hugs him] GLaDOS: Continue testing. [Sequences from test chambers. Atlas launches into the air, P-body shoots a portal to form a hard light bridge underneath him] [Atlas and P-body fall into a gap. Atlas shoots a portal through which the two of them fall through] [Atlas and P-body heroically stride in slow motion] GLaDOS: The two of you have forged an excellent partnership. [They high-five] GLaDOS: Now it's time for your real purpose. [Camera zooms backwards from a "Manufacturing" exit through a narrow chamber, showing crushers, turrets, grinders, thermal discouragement beams, and other perils] GLaDOS: Don't disappoint me. [An explosion occurs] GLaDOS: Or I'll make you wish you could die. |
