The Portal Wiki collects the following information from all visitors to the website:
- URL requested
- IP Address
- Browser user-agent string (which often includes OS information)
Additionally, Google Analytics is also present on the site and will collect all the information you expect it to provide.
Google Analytics tracking is automatically disabled if you browse the site through our Tor hidden service (link in the footer of the page).
Moderation purposes:
- IP Address
- Your IP address is associated to your account. In the event your account is blocked from editing the Wiki, the associated IP address will also be blocked.
- Email Address
- Providing an Email Address is optional during registration. However, if you did provide one, it will only be used for password recovery, and per the purposes set in your preferences.
