Description
Wheatley's Lair is a half-spherical shaped room. Wheatley (in GLaDOS' body) is at the center. To the right of Wheatley is a Conversion Gel pipe, which is crucial for defeating him. Behind him is a catwalk. This catwalk leads all the way across the back side of the room, and some of the side walls as well. Near the catwalk, their are holes in the wall where Cores can enter the room with the aid of GLaDOS. Behind Wheatley, hidden in the Panels is a Stalemate Resolution Button, though it is booby-trapped by Wheatley with noticeable bombs behind the button. Above the ceiling is a direct view of the sky and most noticeably the moon, which ultimately allows Chell to place a Portal on the moon and banish Wheatley into space.
Trivia
Wheatley's lair has noticeable changes from when it belonged to GLaDOS. GLaDOS' room was much simpler, with just a half-spherical room with black panel walls, core recepticals, and a hidden Stalemate Resolution Button. Wheatley added in many things, most notably the catwalk and Conversion Gel pipe. He also added things onto GLaDOS' body, such as bomb proof shields. However, after defeating Wheatley and seeing Atlas and P-Body, all of these changes seem to have reverted back to normal.
