I did a bit of testing in Chamber 07 and, after a bit of measuring, I figured out that the pellet there travels 74 floor tiles in 12 seconds, or roughly 6.16 tiles per second. Interestingly, it spawns at the launcher's "nozzle", instead of within it. I wonder if this should be put in the trivia section. | I did a bit of testing in Chamber 07 and, after a bit of measuring, I figured out that the pellet there travels 74 floor tiles in 12 seconds, or roughly 6.16 tiles per second. Anyone have info why Valve not used then in Portal 2? --Comrade Suhov 11:26, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
- It seems the Source engine version deviated greatly from that in the Half-Life 2 and Portal games, but I don't really know. --superslinger2007 22:45, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
Two chambers with broken emitters in Portal 2
Of course, there's the one in original Test Chamber 7 where Wheatley pries himself loose, and one in GLaDOS Test Chamber 1 (in which those systems get replaced). --superslinger2007 22:46, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
Pellet Speed
I did a bit of testing in Chamber 07 and, after a bit of measuring, I figured out that the pellet there travels 74 floor tiles in 12 seconds, or roughly 6.16 tiles per second. Interestingly, it spawns at the launcher's "nozzle", instead of within it. I wonder if this should be put in the trivia section.--ChooChoo62 (talk) 01:17, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
