Hello

Hi and welcome to the wiki~ Thanks for the little fix — Wind 00:11, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

Thanks! What fix? Do you mean the adn in one of the old aperture test chamber? Tonkku107 (talk) 16:13, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
Yes. Not many people have the level of dedication it takes to make a new account just to fix a typo like that — Wind 17:41, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
Actually i didn't create account just for that typo. After i created the account i remembered the typo and fixed it :D Tonkku107 (talk) 18:04, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

Coop walkthroughs

Original email:

Hi,
I added some videos to the walkthrough template.
It shows like this [arrow down] [[Media:|Download demo file]]
How i can get that download demo part go away? I did not specify demo in the template.

The reason coop pages don't have walkthroughs right now is because they haven't been made, I've singlehandedly performed all of the Portal and Portal 2 single-player walkthrough, and all of them have been uploaded to the Portal Wiki channel. Ideally, coop walkthroughs should be done the same way, but I have been unable to find people that have the necessary patience, hardware, time, will, and geographical proximity to do it. The walkthroughs are held to a very high quality standard regarding resolution, graphics quality, framerate, timing, easy-to-follow-ability, and they all come with a .dem file so that viewers can download them and watch them by themselves in the best possible quality their PC can offer without spending a lot of bandwidth. The walkthroughs you've posted so far unfortunately don't come close to that, and I'm not sure if the best course of action is to revert them or to give up on the quality standard that the other walkthroughs adhere to. You're not the first one who has put other people's coop walkthroughs on there, and so far they've all gotten reverted in the hope that we could make a much better one. That still hasn't happened so maybe it is time to give up on that quality standard? In any case, this matter needs to be solved before the Media link goes away. Right now the {{walkthrough}} template assumes there will always be a .dem file to download because so far that has always been true.
