- Descriptive strings (literal text for 'Gestures', 'Hats', etc)
Template:Dictionary/mechanics – names of Mechanics elements used throught the game
Template:Dictionary/common_strings – strings that are used in various places such as nav templates
Template:Dictionary/characters – names of Characters used throughout the game
Achievements:
- Template:Dictionary/portal_achievements – Achievements for Portal
- Template:Dictionary/portal:_still_alive_achievements – Achievements for Portal: Still Alive
- Template:Dictionary/portal_2_achievements – Achievements for Portal 2

Non-translatable strings

Template:Dictionary/demonstration – YouTube video URLs for demonstration videos (e.g. Test Chamber walkthroughs, Gesture videos, etc).
Template:Dictionary/transcripts – Transcripts of walkthrough videos.
Template:Dictionary/price – item prices for the store
