The Stalemate Resolution Annex is an area located inside the Central AI Chamber where the Stalemate Resolution Button resides.
Overview
The Stalemate Associate, or in this case, Chell, is needed to press the Stalemate Button if there is any case of the cores in a core transfer, either the corrupted core or the substitute core, disagreeing with the core transfer protocol. Then if the button is pressed, the core transfer will start anyway regardless whatever the condition of the core. Basically, a override button.
