I just realized, this core doesn't have a name. (Not counting the cores from Portal 1)

Intelligence Dampening Sphere is Wheatley,

Adventure Sphere is Rick,

Space Core has been named "Kevin" in the fanmade Portal Blue Sky comic,

:Probably adventuring elsewhere, he has more self control than other corrupted cores, so he probably escaped Wheatley's orbit and gone somewhere, or maybe he didn't get captured by Wheatley's orbit of influence. "Throughout the Portal 2 chapter The Escape, he reveals that he has a disliking for working with humans; accusing them of "nepotism" simply because the staff gave out the jobs he preferred to other humans."

The exact quote is "I almost got a job down here in Manufacturing. But, uh, guess who the foreman went with? Only an exact duplicate of himself. Nepotism." To me, that doesn't say "humans giving the job to other humans," it says "the programmers jokingly using the word 'nepotism' to mean 'robotic foreman gave the job to a literal exact replica."

In Portal 2, Wheately and Chell go into the production line part of Aperture. Wheatley clearly states that GLaDOS can't touch you down here. Then, Chell and Wheatley shut down the neurotoxin generator AND the turret production line. Everyone knows after the events of Portal 1 GLaDOS was destroyed, a backup system woke up random cores and gave them random jobs to maintain the facility because there was no central core anymore. Wheatley was one of the cores, and we know there were several other cores who were woken up. Although some cores were corrupt and didn't do their jobs, surely there were at least a few other cores who weren't corrupt and did their jobs like Wheatley. Why was he the only one that was "normal?" To me, it doesn't make sense that ALL of the cores activated except Wheatley disappeared.

:I think the other "normal" cores are doing their tasks in the background, and Wheatley was (unfortunately) the one assigned to tend the humans. Cores seems to have a responsibility to multitask, as evidenced by how Wheatley was able to operate the Enrichment Center's multiple core receptacles, so I guess he was given a job to take care that part of the facility, and other cores elsewhere. ~ [[User:Headquarter8302|Headquarter]][[User talk:Headquarter8302|8302]] 03:12, 17 April 2022 (UTC)

Oddly, when Wheatley is being sucked into space, the handles suddenly reappear despite still being connected to the main frame. This maybe an unintended story fault that the developers doesn't notice while developing the game'

This has caused a storywise plot break that must be fixed, or it will destroy how Wheatley appearance in the mainframe, and how he looks like in space. BTW, people STILL get him wrong in SFM animations where he has handles when he is on the mainframe. This is common is Harry101UK animations with Mainframe Wheatley in it (except for the wheatley song). Why couldn't they make it consistent? --[[User:SaturnCublix|SaturnCublix]]

To me, that doesn't say "humans giving the job to other humans," it says "the programmers jokingly using the word 'nepotism' to mean 'robotic foreman gave the job to a literal exact replica."

Then, Chell and Wheatley shut down the neurotoxin generator AND the turret production line. After it was destroyed, a backup system woke up random cores and gave them random jobs to maintain the facility since there was no central core anymore. Of course Wheatley was one of the cores, and we know some cores were corrupt and didn't do their jobs,
but surely there were at least a few other cores who weren't corrupt and did their jobs like Wheatley? Why was he the only one that was "normal?" To me, it doesn't make sense that ALL of the cores activated except Wheatley were corrupt.

:I think the other "normal" cores are doing their tasks in the background, and Wheatley was (unfortunately) the one assigned to tend the humans. Cores seems to have a responsibility to multitask, as evidenced by how Wheatley was able to operate the Enrichment Center's multiple core receptacles, so I guess he was given a job to take care that part of the facility, and other cores elsewhere. ~ [[User:Headquarter8302|Headquarter]][[User talk:Headquarter8302|8302]] 03:12, 17 April 2022 (UTC)
