The '''Fact Sphere''' is a corrupted [[Cores#Personality Cores|personality core]] that appears in the single-player campaign of ''[[Portal 2]]''.

The Fact Sphere speaks like a stereotypical "know-it-all", spending most of its time rapidly rattling off various facts. While a small portion of the listed facts are {{tooltip|true|The billionth digit of Pi is 9}}, most of them are {{tooltip|incorrect|In 1862, Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, freeing the slaves. Like everything he did, Lincoln freed the slaves while sleepwalking, and later had no memory of the event}} and downright {{tooltip|illogical|To make a photocopier, simply photocopy a mirror}}. (Sometimes altering {{tooltip|true facts|The Schrödinger's cat paradox outlines a situation in which a cat in a box must be considered, for all intents and purposes, simultaneously alive and dead.}} into {{tooltip|nonsense|Schrödinger created this paradox as a justification for killing cats}})

The Fact Sphere, along with all the corrupted cores, is voiced by {{W|Nolan North}}.

The '''Morality Core''' is a [[Cores#Personality Cores|personality core]] that appears in ''[[Portal]]'', and [[Portal 2: Lab Rat]]. It is one of many cores that was attached to [[GLaDOS]] in order to regulate her behavior. It was programmed to prevent her from doing unethical deeds, acting as an artificial conscience. When [[Doug Rattmann]] first sees the Morality Core, he doubts its capability to restrain GLaDOS, saying "You can always ignore your conscience". {{Spoiler|He turns out to be correct, as despite the Morality Core being attached, GLaDOS floods Aperture with [[Neurotoxin|neurotoxin]] anyway.}}
