Aperture Tag: The Paint Gun Testing Initiative is a Portal 2 modification featuring gameplay focussing around the use and manipulation of the Gels featured in Portal 2.

Story
The events take place after the events of Portal 2's cooperative campaign's Mobility Gels course, and before the events of the Art Therapy course, in the Aperture Science Facility, while GLaDOS had finished building the Aperture Science Paint Gun. A test subject wakes up in an Aperture Science Extended Relaxation Center's restroom ready to begin his test. He is introduced to Nigel, a personality core and his test associate. He then is put through a series of tests featuring the Aperture Science Paint Gun, Aperture Science's final product. When the testing is over, Nigel was surprised that there was someone to complete every single test chamber and thinks that he is the proper one to deactivate the old Aperture Science Stability Stable Energy Reactor, the energy supply of Aperture Science, as a new one was built. Nigel is really surprised that he made it through so easily and decides to put him through another round of tests.
Mechanics
Mechanics
Expandlist
* Aperture Science Paint Gun
: Allows the player to coat a surface with a never-ending supply of either Repulsion Gel or Propulsion Gel, and allows the player to pick up objects in a similar fashion to the Portal gun.
* Aperture Science Paint Gun Activation Field
: Has two sides: The green one activates the Paint Gun so that it can shoot gel, and the purple one deactivates it.
* Aperture Science Vacuum Delivery System
: As a substitute to Portal's Chamberlocks, the Vacuum pipes are used for transportation between test chambers.
* Glass
: Much like non-portable surfaces, you can't put Gels on glass.
Nigel
Nigel is the Core that helps you in Aperture Tag. He looks like the Space core from Portal 2 but is a reskin of the Fact core (also from Portal 2), with an Orange eye instead of Pink.

The Heavy Metal Core
An easter egg found in a test chamber, the Heavy Metal Core sits in his chair and listens to a heavy metal version of Still Alive and bounces his eye container plate up and down. His eye is alternating red and white bands.
Thinking with Time Machine is a Portal 2 modification featuring a new gameplay element known as the "Time Machine" which allows the player to record and play back their actions in the game world.

Plot
{{Spoiler|The story continues from the end of Portal 2 where Chell successfully escapes the facility. However, a crow accidentally flies into the "sky", breaking the illusion of a wide open field created by giant screens. After Chell reawakens, she is revealed to be in the underground portion of the facility, where an elevator leads to new test chambers.

<!--this para is vague, will need a rewrite-->
After completing a tutorial, the player runs across an unsolvable test, until you press a button and a record player falls out, followed by a Borealis hologram, which cracks a hole in the wall. You discover the two co-op Bots, saying that they shut down GLaDOS. They say they will keep tabs on Chell, and the new "Time Machine" device. GLaDOS tells you to go back in time, and the chamber opens.

You are then tasked with completing 9 highly challenging test chambers.
The F key activates the mechanic and enable the Machine to start replicating the actions.

* Anti-gravity buttons
: These are first introduced in Test Chamber 5. They come in the form of regular buttons (Sphere, Cube, etc) on the ceiling. By letting go of a Cube or Sphere close to it it will slowly move towards it and finally activate the button. These only appear once and for people playing the game for the first time will have trouble with it due to no training on how the buttons work.

Glitches
* Frankenturret assembly glitch
: A glitch occurs when making maps using TWTM's in-game PeTi. Aperture Tag: The Paint Gun Testing Initiative is a Portal 2 modification featuring gameplay focussing around the use and manipulation of the Gels featured in Portal 2.

Story
The events take place after Portal 2, in the Aperture Science Facility, while GLaDOS had finished building the Aperture Science Paint Gun. A test subject wakes up in an Aperture Science Relaxation Vault ready to begin his test. He is introduced to Nigel, a personality core and his test associate. He then is put through a series of tests featuring the Aperture Science Paint Gun, Aperture Science's final product. When the testing is over, Nigel was surprised that there was someone to complete every single test chamber and thinks that he is the proper one to deactivate the old Aperture Science Energy Reactor, the energy supply of Aperture Science, as a new one was built. Nigel is really surprised that he made it through so easily and decides to put him through another round of tests.
Thinking with Time Machine is a Portal 2 modification featuring a new gameplay element known as the "Time Machine" which allows the player to record and play back their actions in the game world.

Plot
Mechanics
Mechanics
Expandlist
* "Time Machine" device
: Accurately recreates the player's actions. Activated by hitting the R (default) key, then the Q key to stop. The F key activates the mechanic and enable the Machine to start replicating the actions.

* Anti-gravity buttons

* Aperture Science Paint Gun Activation Field
: Has two sides: The green one activates the Paint Gun so that it can shoot gel, and the purple one deactivates it.
